Frequently Asked Questions

  • What payment methods do you accept?
    I accept cash or credit/debit card payments. All payments are to be made upon job completion. I do not accept cheques. ​
  • Is there a shopping time charge?
    If you require me to shop for materials for you, I will charge the time at our hourly rates. A surcharge will also be added to materials. For larger jobs I recommend asking for a fixed price to include materials you wish me to provide.
  • Is there a cancellation charge?
    I operate a 48 hour cancellation policy – cancellations given less than 48 hours in advance will incur the 1st one hour charge. Ideally, I’d like to avoid this so we can prioritise other jobs in the area. If you need to cancel, please let me know ASAP.
  • Will handyMoz arrive prepared with the right tools?
    Yes, Chris will arrive with the set of tools to complete the agreed job.
  • My job is straight forward and it will take 15 minutes maximum to complete it. How much will you charge me?
    If the job will take less than 1 hour then the minimum charge of £40 for 1 hour will apply.
  • Do you take away cardboard packaging after unboxing and fitting my shelves?
    Generally, I ask you to dispose of any waste materials as this will be cheaper for you. If you require me to dispose of items, this will be charged for.
